Police probe "unexplained death" after body found in Fife hotel
A man has been found dead in a hotel in Fife.
Police are treating the death as "unexplained after being called to Drummond’s Hotel in Balbirnie Street, Markinch at around 10am on Wednesday after the discovery.
Detectives and forensics were outside the hotel for most of the day.
Inspector Rachael Burns of Glenrothes Police Station said: “Officers were called to an address on Balbirnie Street, Markinch on Wednesday, 20 November following the sudden death of a man.
The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.”
