Nathan Patterson earns spot on Rangers bench vs St Mirren as Defoe starts up front
Rangers striker Jermain Defoe starts for his side at Ibrox this evening as Alfredo Morelos continues his suspension.
The English veteran will be hoping to net against St Mirren in the Premiership as Steven Gerrard's men maintain the pressure on rivals Celtic.

Youngster Nathan Patterson - who made his first-team debut against Stranraer last weekend - earns a place on the bench.
St Mirren, meanwhile, start Akin Famewo and Jon Obika after the latter's double against Broxburn in Saturday's Scottish Cup win at Simple Digital Arena.
