Neil Lennon has confirmed that Jeremie Frimpong is out of tomorrow's Ross County clash after he was injured at Kilmarnock.

The right-back was scythed down by Killie's Alan Power in the second half of Celtic's 3-1 win at Rugby Park on Wednesday evening.

'If that was me, I would have been off': Celtic captain Scott Brown blasts Alan Power over challenge on Jeremie Frimpong

Frimpong, 19, was carted off in a stretcher and will play no part against the Staggies at Parkhead. "Jerrie won't be fit for tomorrow," the manager said. "He's had a scan and we're waiting on the results.

"We don't think it's as bad as we first anticipated. The challenge was overly aggressive and could have easily been a red card.

"We'll hopefully get him back as quickly as possible."
