CELTIC wrapped up another three points after seeing off a stuffy 10-man Hamilton Accies at FOYS Stadium with Odsonne Edouard netting a double either side of a Christopher Jullien strike before James Forres rounded off the scoring for the champions. Here's how they rated...

Fraser Forster 6

Timely block from Marios Ogkmpoe after Ajer had failed to properly clear in the first period before he was beaten by Ogkmpoe’s header.

Stephen Welsh 6

Important tackle when David Moyo was in danger of going through in. The youngster coped well for his debut before being subbed for Tom Rogic in the latter stages as Celtic went all out for goals.

Christopher Jullien 6

One bizarre kick out of play when under no pressure and then immediately after lost Ogkmpoe as the striker headed Accies in front from Blair Alston’s corner. All was forgiven when he finished with some aplomb to give Celtic a vital second goal.

Kris Ajer 6

Poor clearance in opening period which put Celtic under pressure but recovered his composure. Tried hard to Celtic moving forward as they looked to break Accies resistance.

James Forrest 7

Allowed Scott McMann to escape from him as Accies won the corner which led to their opener. Netted the fourth goal of the afternoon in stoppage time.

Olivier Ntcham 6

Industrious shift in the middle of the park but frustrated at times. Replaced by Ryan Christie midway through the second period as Celtic chased a winner.

Scott Brown 7

Made his 700th competitive appearance in senior football and worked his socks off in the middle of the park. Helped to talk Welsh through the game in the opening stages.

Callum McGregor 7

One early shot blocked and then took a hefty kick as the opening period drew to a close. Can be relied upon to put in a shift.

Greg Taylor 5

Should have won a second-half penalty when his cross into box seemed to be pushed away by McGowan. Trod a dangerous line after being booked and struggled to make a telling impact.

Leigh Griffiths 6

In amongst it. Booked for leaving a boot on Woods which may have been a red on another day and then involved in a pushing match with Alex Gogic. Fouled as he turned Jamie Hamilton for which the Accies player was dismissed.

Odsonne Edouard 8

The talisman. Two important goals in either half; his first restored parity with a fierce free-kick but his second of the day and Celtic’s third ensured there was no ambiguity about the scoreline. Missed one late chance that would have sealed his hat-trick.

SUBSTITUTES

Ryan Christie 6

On for Olivier Ntcham and significant role in turning the game for Celtic. Delivered the cross for Julien to convert and then started the move which led to Celtic’s third.

Jonny Hayes 6

Hugely effective contribution after coming off the bench. A quick free-kick after hurdling the advertising boards to retrieve the ball to send Christie on his way for Celtic’s vital second of the day.

Tom Rogic 6

Introduced at 1-1 as Celtic tried to find the desired penetration. Linked with Edouard for the third.
