HAMILTON defender Shaun Want grew up and still lives in the shadow of Hampden.

Want is used to fans parking in his street on cup final day and seeing a sea of colour as supporters made their way to the famous national stadium. And he would love to create that scenario for Hamilton fans.

For Hamilton to continue on the road to Hampden then they have to get the better of Rangers. Want knows this is a formidable challenge but it is one which he relishes.

Want said: "It's a massive game against one of the top teams in Scotland but anything can happen in the cup and we relish the challenge. I want to make memories for Hamilton fans in the cup. A win would give us confidence and we know anything can happen in the cup.

"I live next door to Hampden. If we get all the way to Hampden, I'll come out my back door and be right there. I still stay there with my mum and dad. They all park their cars in my street on cup final day.

"It's Croftburn Drive - just two minutes up the road. You know these games are big occasions. Even if you reach the semi-final, that's you at Hampden.

"That's where every player in our changing room wants to be.

"I'm sure I won't be allowed just to walk there - I'd need to be on the bus with the rest of the boys."
