A LAMB has been born early at Tollcross Children's Farm.
Farm Livestock Supervisor Hugh Boyle returned from his annual leave early to help with the delivery of 'Hope' as staff numbers had reduced as a result of the current Covid-19 situation.
Hugh was supported by two new staff volunteers when cute baby lamb Hope decided to make a premature appearance.
Susan Boyd and David Cann, Grounds Operatives who normally work on Glasgow Life contracts volunteered to get involved and help support the animals on the farm.
A council spokeswoman said: "They had an exciting first week and learnt perhaps more than they expected when a new lamb made a quick and unexpected early arrival – safely delivered under the care of Hugh."
