A man has died after an alleged 'disturbance' in a Renfrewshire town centre.
Emergency crews were called to Johnstone's High Street last night following the alleged brawl.
They found a 26-year-old man who sadly was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officers remained at the High Street this morning, with traffic having to be diverted away from the area.

A 17-year-old man has since been arrested in connection with the incident, and officers are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "At around 8:30pm on Wednesday, April 1, police received a report of an alleged disturbance in the High Street, in Johnstone.
"Emergency services attended and a 26-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
"A 17-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and enquiries are ongoing.
"High Street remains closed as officers continue to conduct enquiries."
