GLASGOW's King's Theatre and Theatre Royal have had to postpone all performances until at least May 31.

ATG Tickets made the announcement on their behalf, confirming the measures put in place to help stop the spread of coronavirus.

They say they are contacting all customers who had booked tickets to a show within that period by email today.

A statement reads: "We are sorry that you will not be able to see your chosen show at the time you had originally planned, but we very much hope that you will be able to reschedule your visit for a different performance date later in the year.

"Customers will be issued a full credit voucher (including all booking and transaction fees) next week.

"As you can imagine, we now have an extremely large number of orders to process please rest assured that we will be in touch again as soon as we can.

"We hope everyone is staying safe during this period and we look forward to welcoming you to an ATG theatre again soon."
