A WOMAN is facing charges after she struck another woman on the head with a hammer, leaving her with serious injuries.
Gemma Devine, 29, is said to have attacked Catriona Dougan in Glasgow’s Govan area last June.
Devine is also alleged to have behaved in an aggressive manner and challenge Lisa Gibson to a fight at the same location.
Prosecutors claim Devine repeatedly uttered threats of violence and made offensive remarks to Miss Gibson. Devine faces a final charge of the unlawful possession of a hammer at Govan’s Hutton Drive, inset.
A hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court was postponed yesterday due to the coronavirus outbreak.
The case was dealt with administratively and a new hearing date has been set for June this year.
Devine, also from Govan, remains on bail meantime.
