The Neighbourgood Market, Edinburgh’s first contactless and physically distant outdoor market, is coming to Stockbridge, Edinburgh from 15 July 2020.

Located at The Grange Club in Stockbridge, Edinburgh’s newest market will be host to around 20 food and drink traders, each selling some of the best food and drink Edinburgh has to offer.

As well as trading food, drink, and even offering socially-distanced outdoor yoga, the Neighbourgood Market will boast outdoor seating areas that will observe social-distancing guidelines.

Once up and running, the outdoor market will be open to customers Wednesday to Sunday between the hours of 12pm and 7pm.

Inspired by similar initiatives already popular in New York, the meticulously-designed circular seating zones and one-way walkways will allow visitors to enjoy the market without worrying about their safety.

Founding duo Preston Mommsen and Edward Wilson said: “We are really excited to bring this fresh and uplifting concept to the Stockbridge and wider Edinburgh community.

“There’s no doubt that it’s been a tough few months for everyone during lockdown - we’re delighted that we are now able to provide a vibrant platform for people to socialise safely once again, all while enjoying some of Edinburgh’s finest food and drink offering.”
