There have been no new reported coronavirus deaths in the past four days, as the Scottish death toll remains at 2490.
However, an additional 19 cases of the virus have been confirmed in the past 24-hours.
This is more than double the number of new cases reported yesterday and takes the total to 18,359.
12 of those cases were recorded in the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area. A total of 181 people are in hospital in the area being treated for confirmed Covid-19.
Nicola Sturgeon told that "daily variation" is to be expected but the rise in cases serves as a "reminder that the virus hasn't gone away".
Another day y’day with no registered deaths of people who had tested positive for COVID. 19 new cases though - 12 more than yesterday. We can expect to see daily variation - but as on Friday, these are being closely examined. And it’s a reminder that the virus hasn’t gone away. https://t.co/TBTrboxR3g

It comes after Sturgeon revealed that self-isolation for English visitors cannot be ruled out but would not be a decision taken lightly.
Speaking on BBC's Andrew Marr Show on Sunday, Nicola Sturgeon said the UK nations need to work together on outbreak management in a way that “mitigates against having to put any border restrictions in place”.
She said she will “take decisions the best I can to protect the health of Scotland and to take that absolutely from a public health perspective", but that she is not "immediately planning" for a self-isolation policy for visitors south of the border.
