A teenager has died in Motherwell after he was found badly injured in a car park this morning.
Emergency services raced to the car park near the town's Civic Centre around 9.30am where the boy, 17, was seriously injured.
The 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead shortly after he was discovered.
His death is being treated as unexplained.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We can confirm a 17-year-old man was found seriously injured in a car park near Motherwell Civic Centre shortly after 9.30am on Sunday, July 12.
"He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later.
"His next of kin are aware.
"His death is being treated as unexplained.
"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course."
