Police Scotland's air unit and police dogs were drafted in to a rescue mission along the River Clyde.
The two divisions assisted Renfrew and Inverclyde Police Division yesterday afternoon as a person had got stuck on a remote area along the river.
The person of concern was successfully rescued after the helicopter crew managed to locate him.
A Police Scotland statement reads: "Assisted Renfrew and Inverclyde Police Division with a missing person search on the Rover Clyde.
"Helicopter crew spotted the person in a remote area and directed divisional units and police dogs to assist."
