MEMBERS of the Drumchapel community are warning one another to remain vigilant of stolen items being sold on within the area.
It comes after a storage unit belonging to Drumchapel Carpets was broken into on Monday evening.
Thieves forced entry into the container before stealing carpets, artist tools, canvas paintings, art works and movie icons while “trashing” and “wrecking” other projects.
A community post reads: “Police have been informed and local CCTV will be reviewed to hopefully catch the lowlifes involved, so do the right thing and hand them over to save a knock on your door.”
A Police Scotland spokesman said the break-in of the Dunkenny Square container is believed to have occurred between 4pm on Monday 10am on Tuesday.
Enquiries into the theft are ongoing.
