ANOTHER 60 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in Scotland, the Government has announced.

The new cases represent 1.3% of all new tests, bringing the total to 18,950.

No further deaths were reported, meaning the toll among those who have tested positive remains 2491. However, 4208 deaths have been registered where coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate.

Some 261 people were last night in hospital with the disease. Of those, three were in intensive care.
