Police Scotland have said they are becoming "increasingly concerned" for the wellbeing of a 14-year-old missing schoolgirl.
Madison Chassels was last seen in the Hamilton area at around 7pm on Saturday evening.
Police have now launched an urgent appeal to trace her as they are urging anybody who may have seen her to come forward.
UPDATE: Madison has now been traced safe and well. Police have thanked the public for assistance.
Inspector Martin McKendrick stated “Madison is 14 years of age and has been missing overnight. She is known to frequent the Fairhill area of Hamilton and she is classed as vulnerable.
"When last seen, Madison was wearing a white lace top over a black t-shirt, white lace shorts and the black hip-length gilet as seen in the photo.
"I would ask that anyone who has any information as to the whereabouts of Madison, contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 4156 of 8 August 2020.”
