A BUSY East End street was locked down by cops last night.
Royston Road was cordoned off by officers with ambulance crews also on the scene from around 6pm.
Police remained on the scene throughout the night with bus services redirected as a result of the incident.

It is unclear at this time why emergency crews locked down part of the street.
Warning customers of diversions, First Bus tweeted: "Due to a police incident Royston road is closed in both directions, Our 19 service is currently on diversion."
The Glasgow Times has contacted Police Scotland for comment.
