THE team at Largs Fire Station were cleaning up for good causes as they raised £600 through a car washing morning.
The event took place last Saturday at the Brisbane Road depot.
Local fire chief Paul Lamont said: "The money has been counted and a grand total of just over £600 was raised for our charities in only three hours.
"A huge thank you from all the crew at Largs Fire Station to everyone who came along and supported us."
The money will be split between The Firefighters' Charity and Largs Thistle.
