Coronavirus: Further 24 deaths in Scotland as cases rise by 1,101
Another 1,101 people tested positive for coronavirus in the past 24-hours.
Of the 20,570 new test results, 6.2% were positive for the virus.
Sadly, another 24 deaths of those who previously tested positive have been reported.
Of the new positive cases, 374 were recorded under NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.
Meanwhile, 317 cases were registered in Lanarkshire.
1149 people were in hospital yesterday with confirmed Covid-19, of which 80 were in intensive care.
