There have been 1,159 positive coronavirus cases reported in the past 24 hours, the latest figures show.
No new deaths have been registered since Register Offices are generally closed at the weekend.
The latest figures reveal over 18,732 tests were carried out with 7.2% of them bringing back positive results.
In Greater Glasgow, another 459 people tested positive for coronavirus while under NHS Lanarkshire a total of 226 people returned positive results.
Hospitalisations have risen since yesterday by 43, with 1,341 in hospital yesterday with recently confirmed Covid-19.
A total of 100 people were receiving intensive care yesterday for the virus, a rise of eight.
