There have been 844 positive coronavirus cases reported in the past 24 hours, the latest figures show.
Sadly, there have been another seven deaths of people who tested positive.
These figures may not represent the full total as Register Offices are generally closed at weekends.
The latest figures reveal over 19,664 tests were carried out with 5.4% of them bringing back positive results.
In Greater Glasgow, another 309 people tested positive for coronavirus while under NHS Lanarkshire a total of 181 people returned positive results.
Hospitalisations have continued to decrease, with 1,170 in hospital with recently confirmed Covid-19.
A total of 95 people were receiving intensive care yesterday for the virus, a fall of five.
