A MISSING Cumbernauld man who was last seen walking his dog has still not been traced – despite his Staffie being found safe and well.
Scott Lowrie was last seen heading into the wooded area at the rear of Fannyside Road at around 10am on Saturday after leaving a house on Hazel Road.
The 50-year-old is described as a white man, around 5ft 10in tall with receding short grey hair.
He was wearing a green parka jacket and blue jeans when he was last seen.
Inspector Neil Macleod, of Cumbernauld Community Policing, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Scott’s welfare and are appealing to members of the public to help trace him safe and well.

“He was last seen heading into the wooded area at the rear of Fannyside Road and I would ask that if you noticed anyone matching this description or have any information on his whereabouts that you contact police.
“Scott was also walking with his Staffordshire bull terrier dog at the time which has since been found safe and well.
“I would ask anyone who has any information to come forward and speak to officers. Police can be contacted on by calling 101 and quoting incident number 2648 of 30/11/20."
