Police launch investigation after body is found in Strathclyde Loch
Police are investigating after the body of a man was found in Strathclyde Park.
Officer were alerted at 10am on Tuesday after the body was spotted in Strathclyde Loch by a female member of the public.
Police Scotland say there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident however investigations are still being carried out.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were called around 10am on Tuesday, 1 December, 2020 to a report of a body being seen in the loch, near to Spine Road in Motherwell.
“The body of man has been recovered, there are no suspicious circumstances and enquiries are ongoing."
