SO D Ross thinks the 2014 indyref was “gold standard”, does he? When two poll results of over 50% for Yes came out a few days before the vote, Alex Salmond said it was too early!

It gave Cameron time to give us the “vast new powers” lie and the Daily Record and the Great Broon to give us the Vow and the “near federal system” nonsense.

These were NOT on the ballot paper. The Electoral Commission had not considered them, it was a CLEAR Yes/No vote. Nothing more, nothing less. I think that should make it a null and void vote or even verging on criminal disregard of fair democratic process.

Why should I consider vast new powers when I could have all of them? It is to be hoped the next indyref has international observers right from the start. That Westminster will not be allowed to change the rules to suit them, or add wee bits as an afterthought. I do not accept that a vote based on lies or false information or last-minute changes could stand up in a court of law.

Can we not just ask for an honest referendum, or is that too much to ask for from Westminster? They seem to break agreements whenever they feel like it .We need to get this to an independent international court.
