The world premiere of a raw and intimate feature-length documentary which examines the life and legacy of Sir Alex Ferguson, will be shown at the Glasgow Film Festival.

Sir Alex Ferguson: Never Give In examines the life and legend of one of the greatest football managers of all time, filmed whilst recovering from a traumatic brain haemorrhage and directed by his son Jason.

Sir Alex Ferguson and Jason Ferguson will also take part in an exclusive digital Q&A, access to which will be available to all ticket holders.

The film festival has also announced two UK premieres and an array of high-profile guests, ahead of its online addition which is running from February 24 to March 7.

The festival will host UK premieres of Tina and Kelly Reichardt’s First Cow on March 5.

Tina is a revealing and intimate exploration of the iconic Tina Turner’s life and career – a woman who overcame extreme adversity to define her career, identity, and legacy on her own terms.

Kelly Reichardt’s First Cow is a beautiful and moving depiction of brotherhood, in the Pacific Northwest amidst authentically hardscrabble early nineteenth century life.
