Is Facebook down? Hundreds of Scots experiencing issues with messenger service
People across the UK are experiencing issues with popular social networking site Facebook this afternoon.
Reports online suggest many users of Facebook and Facebook Messenger are having trouble sending and receiving messages.
Problems appeared to begin just before 3.30pm in the UK.
Popular site measurement tool DownDetector shows ongoing issues across the platforms.
It appears that it is not only Facebook and Facebook Messenger that are affected.
Users on Instagram and Whatsapp are also reporting difficulties.
