What is it?

A budget vacuum cleaner with clever features and plenty of accessories.

Good points?

Costing almost £400 less than similar models from other manufacturers, the U11 provides enough cleaning options to be comparable with premium brands.

Among its most notable features is the Ultra Carpet Boost (UCboost) technology which automatically detects the type of surface being cleaned and adjusts power accordingly.

UCboost means you no longer need to turn off roller brushes when transitioning from carpet to harder floors or having to press a boost button when moving to a thicker pile rug. This reduces power consumption and allows the device to run for up to 55 minutes.

A nifty charging stand (that resembles a metal detector) will replenish the vacuum cleaner in two to three hours and house its accessories. This free-standing dock allows for either a permanent base without having to drill holes in walls or for the stand and appliance to be moved with no fuss.

At 2.2kg (4.8lbs) the unit requires little effort to lift and comfortable is to operate for prolonged periods of cleaning.

Bad points?

The main vacuum head has trouble getting close to wall edges so you may have to swap it out for the precision tool accessory more regularly than you might previously with another brand.

Best for ...

Those looking for a solid multipurpose cleaner with good battery life and ample accessories. Those who are house proud will appreciate the storage stand to help retain blemish free walls.
