Steven Gerrard and Brendan Rodgers are among those tipped by bookies to replace Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.
The Spaniard remains in the role at the moment but his side's Europa League semi-final elimination had the head coach admitting he is skating on thin ice as boss at the Emirates.
The Gunners currently sit ninth in the Premier League table with Aston Villa just behind them by one point having a game in hand that could see them drop to tenth.
Rangers boss Gerrard - who has been added to a number of bookies' shortlists over the course of the season including Tottenham after they sacked Jose Mourinho - is currently placed at 17/1.
A much more realistic option, according to Betfair, is ex-Celtic gaffer Brendan Rodgers who is currently enjoying a terrific season in third at Leicester City.
Oddsmakers have the Northern Irishman as short as 3/1 to leave the Foxes for London.
Celtic-linked Eddie Howe is also up there with bookies at 11/1 to be the next Arsenal manager.
Arteta, 39, is third-favourite to be sacked next in the top-tier at 15/2 (was as high as 14/1 yesterday) behind only Roy Hodgson (11/4) and Nuno Espirito Santo (6/1).
