A MAN has died in hospital after a house fire yesterday evening.
Fire crews were called to the scene on Whites Bridge Avenue in Paisley at 10.05pm.
A 47-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where he died a short time after.
Police are currently treating the death as unexplained.

Inquiries remain ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We were called at 10.05pm on Thursday, May 6, to a report of fire at a property on Whites Bridge Avenue, Paisley.
“A 47-year-old man was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where he later died.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained and inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances."
