Drivers can now expect a 50-mile diversion after a lorry overturned on the A76 near Sanquhar this morning.
Police were alerted to the incident just before 9am on Monday morning, which has left the road blocked and covered by debris.

The driver of the lorry has been taken to hospital for treatment.
The authorities are now working to arrange recovery of the overturned vehicle.
Meanwhile, Traffic Scotland has announced a 50-mile diversion for drivers travelling in either direction.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were made aware of an overturned lorry on the A76 to the south of Sanquhar around 8.50am on Monday, 10 May.
"The female driver has been taken to Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary for treatment. The road is currently closed while recovery of the vehicle is arranged."
