THIS is the moment Rangers fans welcomed their team back to Glasgow yesterday with a firework display in the city. 

Light Blues supporters also hung banners celebrating the Ibrox side's 55th league triumph and showing support for midfielder Glen Kamara, who was recently the victim of racist abuse.

Videos and images shared online by Gers star Alfredo Morelos show fireworks filling the evening sky as the team's bus passed the Cessnock building on the way home from Livingston.

The scenes come ahead of Rangers' last game of the campaign on Saturday when they host Aberdeen at Ibrox.

On the day, the Light Blues will lift the top flight title for the first time in a decade with some fans due to mark the moment with a celebration in the city's George Square.

These plans have been condemned by the police and some politicians, but today Professor Hugh Pennington told us the risk of increasing Covid cases was "low".
