CORONAVIRUS vaccination appointments have been brought forward for those aged between 18 and 39 in selected areas of Glasgow.
Residents who are living in areas where cases are increasing will have access to the jag from next week onwards.
NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is currently pursuing ways to ensure that vaccination uptake is as high as possible in areas with the biggest spike in cases.

This will include encouraging and supporting people who previously opted not to receive their vaccination to arrange an appointment.
It is likely that individuals will be contacted directly and offered appointments in the coming weeks.
The local health board is targeting Battlefield, Gorbals and Hutchesontown, Govanhill, Aikenhead, Kingston West and Dumbreck, Maxwell Park, Mosspark, Pollokshields and Strathbungo.
This includes the G41, G42, G5, G51 and G52 postcodes.
Second doses for residents aged 50 and over in the affected areas of Glasgow will also be brought forward in line with CVI guidelines of administering a second dose between eight and 12 weeks after the first.
