MORE proof that Westminster can be one of the smallest, most inward-looking villages in the world is evident in the build-up to Dominic Cummings’ appearance before MPs on Wednesday.

There has not been so much excitement since the proroguing of parliament, but at least that was an action that rightly attracted the attention (and condemnation) of vast swathes of the country. How much do people care what this former adviser to Prime Minister Boris Johnson has to say?
