A stretch of a busy motorway near Glasgow is currently closed due to a crash.
Police responded to the M8 Westbound at junction 31 shortly after 5am this morning following reports of a one-vehicle road crash.
Officers are still in attendance and the road remains closed to westbound traffic.
The force confirmed the eastbound carriageway has now reopened.
An investigation is currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Police were called around 5.05am following the report of a one vehicle road crash on the M8 Westbound and junction 31.
"Officers are in attendance and the road is currently closed westbound. The eastbound carraigeway has now reopened.
"Enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident."
