GLASGOW was lit up in celebration of Batman last night.
A huge projection of the iconic Bat-signal shone a light on five buildings across the UK, including Glasgow City Chambers, to mark Batman Day 2021.
Fans flocked to the city centre to catch a glimpse of the call to the Caped Crusader which appeared between 9.30pm and 10pm.
Glasgow was chosen as it was used as a filming location for 'The Batman' last February.
Six-year-old Thomas, from Glasgow, said: "I love Batman. He's the best superhero there is."

Earlier this year, the city was once again at the heart of Hollywood as filming for 'The Flash' got underway.
Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton will play a younger and older Batman and his alter ego Bruce Wayne in the DC Comics blockbuster.
Both 'The Batman' and 'The Flash' are set to be released in 2022.
