CHATEAU-X, Glasgow

Chateau-X, a new casual dining steakhouse concept from the team behind Six by Nico, will open to the public at 10 Claremont Street in Finnieston on 8 December.

Chateau-X will solely serve 'Chateaubriand' with a focus on quality, flair and affordability, all of which have become synonymous with the Glasgow based restaurant group. I'm told, the menu will be straightforward - Chateaubriand, made to perfection by the Chateau-X team of chefs, and will cost £30 for two people. The initial menu will include a 500g Chateaubriand and a selection of six sides. At that price, there will be queues out the door...

Duck and Waffle, Edinburgh

Famed London restaurant Duck and Waffle has been announced for Edinburgh's St James Quarter.

The modern European restaurant is scheduled to open in early 2022, as the worldwide diner prepares to make its Scottish debut, delivering 24-hour service and a menu that offers a playful twist on British food with broad European influences.

For four days between the 18th and 21st of November, X by Glenmorangie's Made to Mix Jukebox will be available at the new terrace at The Alchemist in the heart of Scotland's capital city.
