The Brian Taylor Podcast is taking a break over the festive period.

Brian and his guests will return to the airwaves in the new year but in the meantime

Since April, we’ve been bringing you weekly episodes of The Brian Taylor Podcast on all your streaming platforms.

From Rishi Sunak to Henry McLeish, we’ve had guests from across the UK’s political scene join us to discuss a host of topics on our 37 episodes, and thousands of you have tuned in and joined our community.

Over the Christmas period, our host Brian Taylor will be taking a well-deserved break, ready to kick-off the new year with more of the analysis and news you love.

But in the meantime, why not take a look at some of our older episodes?

In July, chancellor Rishi Sunak joined the podcast in a special episode while on a trip to Glasgow.

He spoke to Brian about Scottish independence, the furlough scheme and jobs in Scotland.

To mark the seventh anniversary of the 2014 independence referendum, we invited former first minister Henry McLeish onto the podcast.

The show made headlines across the country after the former Labour FM admitted that he would support Scottish independence.

Covid dominated the news this year, and we recently brought public health expert Linda Bauld onto the show to answer your questions and concerns over the Omicron variant.

We’d love to hear your thoughts on the podcast going into the new year, and would like to know what you’d like to see going forward.
