It has sent beauty reviewers into a frenzy but does Jones Road Miracle Balm live up to the hype?

Created by Bobbi Brown, Queen of 'no make-up make-up' it is described as a "wash of soft-focus moisture to perfect and enhance skin".

I like the idea of one product that can be used on cheeks, eyes and lips to warm up the complexion and it does that quite well.

If you like the dewy look, it definitely delivers but might not suit those with oilier skin as it's easy to over-do application to try to get the usual coverage of blush or bronzer.

The Herald:

Bronze is great on fair skins with a bit of redness as it seems to cancel it out and achieves a realistic sun-kissed look.

If you are looking for a bit more colour, Flushed is more heavily pigmented and provides a perky glow and I find those two shades work well together on my pale skin.

It's packed full of ingredients that are good for the skin including anti-ageing Argan Oil and Vitamin E and does not contain toxic silicons or parabens, which is good to know.

Miracle Balm can be worn alone or layered on top of foundation and has become part of my now very speedy morning beauty routine.

It's priced £34 but is a generously sized product that will last all four seasons and more.
