CONCERN is growing for a missing Johnstone man who was last seen on Friday.

Harry Roberts was last seen on Friday, May 13 on the town's North Road at around 7am but was reported missing today.

The 27-year-old said he was heading into Glasgow city centre, however, it is not known if he travelled there.

Police say they are concerned as he has not contacted family or friends since Friday morning which is out of character.

Constable Colin McDonald of Johnstone Police Station said: "On leaving North Road last Friday morning, Harry said that he was heading into Glasgow City Centre, however, we don’t know if indeed he did travel there.

"If you have any information as to Harry’s whereabouts, or have any information that will help officers trace him, then please call Johnstone Police station via 101 quoting reference number 0161 of Thursday, May 19.

"We’d also appeal to Harry to get in touch with either his family or police to let everyone know he is safe and well."

He was last seen wearing a navy tracksuit top, bottoms and black Nike trainers.
