A SEARCH is underway after an attempted fire-raising was reported in Hamilton.
Cops were called to Brandon Street at around 12.30pm today following the report and a search of the area is ongoing.
Officers are still at the scene and it is unknown if any damage was caused as a result of the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 12.30pm on Thursday, May 19, 2022, police were called to the Brandon Street area of Hamilton following a report of an attempted fire-raising.
"Officers remain at the scene and a search of the area is ongoing."
