A pensioner has been taken to hospital after a car crashed in Irvine earlier today.
The woman aged 77 was taken away by ambulance after a vehicle went off-road on Long Drive just before 3pm today [Thursday, June 23].
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “At around 2.55pm on Thursday, June 23, officers were called to a report of a one-car crash on Long Drive in Irvine.
“A 77-year-old woman was taken by ambulance to Ayrshire Central Hospital in Irvine for treatment.”
