JURORS in the Emma Caldwell murder trial will return to court on Monday to continue their deliberations.
Iain Packer, 51, denies 36 allegations of physical and sexual violence involving 25 women including the murder of Miss Caldwell at the remote Limefield Woods in Biggar, South Lanarkshire on April 5 2005.
The jury had gone out on Friday morning on day 29 of the trial at the High Court in Glasgow.
But, after a number of hours of deliberations, no verdicts were reached and they were sent home for the weekend by judge Lord Beckett.
The women in the case mainly consist of 17 sex workers and others Packer lived with at the time as well as a teenage girl that he allegedly raped.
The charges span between 1990 and 2016.
The trial continues.
