Callander Woods
Imagine a place where every day feels like a holiday. With your very own holiday home, you can enjoy endless holidays, create unforgettable memories, and escape to your very own happy place whenever you like.
For over 40 years, the Wood Family have been helping create memorable holidays at their 5 popular Wood Leisure Holiday Parks.
The award-winning parks are set in incredible locations, within easy reach of Scotland's central belt. So, whether you're looking for a rural escape in Deeside, a bolthole to relax in after a day exploring Perthshire or The Trossachs, or a retreat within walking distance of Loch Lomond, they've got the perfect holiday home for you.
With all of Wood Leisure’s parks now open for 12 months, you can enjoy holidays all year-round too.
Trossachs Meadow Development
Set within the world-famous Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, the Trossachs Meadows development at Callander Woods offers a unique opportunity to buy your own lodge or holiday home in magnificent surroundings with stunning views of the surrounding hills.
Whether your interest lies in cycling, walking adventures with your ‘furry friend’ or for those brave enough, cold water swimming, there are many exciting routes to explore. For less energetic days, stroll into Callander and chose from one of the many quaint cafes for cake and coffee then browse around the lovely independent shops.
After a day enjoying the pleasures of the local area you can return to the tranquillity of your very own lodge or holiday home. Whether it’s to get lost in your favourite book or light up the BBQ, it will be the place you can enjoy many happy days for years to come.

Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
