A new outdoor clothing store is to open in a Scottish Highland gateway town.

The company said it plans to be a "go-to destination" for people who enjoy outdoor pursuits.

Páramo, the British outdoor clothing brand "renowned for its sustainable, high-performance products", said it is to open the store in Fort William's High Street next week.

It said it will "provide local outdoor enthusiasts and visitors to the area with greater access to Páramo’s innovative outdoor gear".

Located in the heart of the town known as the gateway to Ben Nevis and many iconic Highland trails, the new store is "perfectly situated to serve those who enjoy hiking, climbing, and exploring Scotland’s great outdoors", the firm said.

The new store will showcase Páramo’s full collection of ethically manufactured and sustainable performance clothing, including award-winning waterproof jackets, trousers, breathable layers, and accessories, ideal for the unpredictable Scottish weather.  

In addition, there will be a curated selection of outdoor products from well-known brands sold in the store including Elliot Brown Watches, Darn Tough Vermont, Ortlieb, Hydro Flask, and Ledlenser, "enhancing the shopping experience for customers seeking high-performance gear for their adventures".

The Fort William store will open on October 9.
