A pop singer from Elstree is set to make it into the top 20 of the national singles chart this weekend after the launch of her group's first single. Rita Simons, 23, is a member of the band girls@play, which released its debut single, Airhead, on Monday. Strong record sales gave the single a provisional chart position of 18 on Tuesday, although the official chart will not be calculated until Sunday.
