Woman found dead in property near where injured men were discovered
Police have launched an investigation after a woman was found dead in a property near to where two men were discovered injured.
At about 6am hours on Friday, emergency services were called to Carrutherstown, Dumfries and Galloway, with concern for a man.
He and another injured male were found and taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary.
At that time a 52-year-old woman was pronounced dead within a nearby property.
The investigation is still ongoing and officers remain at the scene.
Police Scotland has urged anyone with information to call Loreburn Street Police Station via 101, quoting incident number 0552 of December 22, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
