A PRISONER on home leave has disappeared from an address in Glasgow. 

James Stewart, 24, was on leave from open prison HMP Castle Huntly and was reported missing yesterday at around 2.35pm.

Mr Stewart has connections in the Glasgow.

Police have reassured members of the public that he does not pose a risk to the public.

He is described as 6 foot in height, average build, short brown hair, brown eyes with a small scar to his left eyebrow, wearing black framed glasses.

A spokesperson for the force said: "If seen, members of the public should contact Police Scotland on 101.

"Anyone wishing to provide information anonymously can do so through the charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
