A WOMAN has died after being involved in a fatal car collision on Saturday afternoon.
Police are appealling for information after attending the scene which involved a blue Volkswagen Golf and a yellow Audi A1 colliding on the A941 in Elgin.
The 69-year-old female driver of the Volkswagen was taken to Dr Grays Hospital by ambulance, where she sadly died. The driver of the Audi was uninjured.
Officers are specifically looking for dash cam footage which could assist them in analysing the incident.

Sergeant Steve Manson, of the North East Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts are very much with the family and friends of the deceased at this time.
"At the time of the incident, the road was very busy and I am looking for anyone that may have seen either vehicle prior to the crash or may have dashcam footage, to the Police to come forward."
The fatal incident occured around 1.50pm on November 13 on the A941 New Elgin Road, between Edgar Road and North Street.
Police are currently asking anyone who believes they can assist the investigation to call 101, quoting incident 2017 of 13 November 2021.
