TV star and son of Sharon Osbourne, Jack has shared an update on his mother after she was rushed to hospital.

The 70-year-old former X Factor judge was rushed to hospital on Friday (December 16) evening after a ‘terrifying medical emergency’.

The incident took place at The Glen Tavern Inn in Santa Paula, California, whilst the mother and son duo filmed their new show, according to TMZ.

But now, Jack has confirmed that they were together filming a special for his show, Jack Osbourne’s Night of Terror.

The TV star also gave fans an update on his mother's condition, as he wrote on his Instagram story: “She has been given the all-clear from her medical team and is now home. Thank you to everyone who has reached out with love and support.”

Adding: “As to what happened to my mum – I’m gonna leave it to her to share about when she is ready.”

At the time of the medical emergency on Friday evening, A representative from the Ventura County Fire Department told TMZ that a ‘medical call’ was made to the Tavern at around 6.30pm on Friday, sharing that the patient was later taken to Santa Paula Hospital.

The Osbournes reality show to return to BBC

The news comes after the Osbourne family shared, they were moving back to the UK.

The family's move is also set to see the return of their much-loved reality tv show, The Osbournes.

It comes as the BBC confirmed that they will be following the family as they move back to Buckinghamshire after leaving the UK for Los Angeles for a new life.

The show is set to be a "funny, moving and honest insight" into the family and their new UK-based life.

The show will focus on Ozzy and Sharon who are said to be moving back into their Grade II-listed mansion in Buckinghamshire.
