I GENERALLY enjoy and appreciate the quality of BBC television humour. However I found the Brendan O'Carroll show Mrs Brown's Boys" to be dreadful: lacking in genuine humour and overloaded with offensive and witless innuendo.

I thought that this programme had reached the lowest level that BBC could attain, but I was wrong. Tonight (October 15) I watched "For Facts Sake" and realised that the BBC had gone well below the bottom line by broadcasting the most mindless drivel that any sane person could imagine. Not even Monty Python could use this as a model of very bad humour.
